A baby's crying, a thin, continuous bleating noise
made her shadow move on the bed.
She is listening.
In a moment she disentangled herself
to stop the crying of her baby.
Standing at the cot, staring down into the shadows
she felt the surroundings of cold melancholic atmosphere.
Neverending crying started again
during raven dark nights.
She, so young and thin
she, not allowed to flesh out into maturity
walked with raised face like someone blind.

What is it going to be like to have a child ?
Not to sleep during the whole nights
Not to have time for my own plans
Not to indulge in reading, writing, a lot of spare time ?
Is it right to have a child ?
What about selfish and severe life around us
Darkness and smoke in the sky
Rain forest disappearing from the map
Poisoned sea full of rubbish instead of whales, seals and green plants
Where do you want to bring your child ?
Melancholy, distress and anguish bestowed on us
Ambitions, restlessness, exhaustion fighting most of us
Constant plans, lust, greediness, eagerness, are bothering our lives
Escaping from the human mass
Estrangement among us
I search for loneliness, solitude, peace of mind
I do not reject love
but do I want to have a child ?
